Congratulations on your new baby! Thank you so much for allowing me the amazing and rewarding job of photographing your new little mini in his/her first few days of life. Newborns are my passion and I consider myself truly blessed to be around these little miracles so much.

First thing is to schedule your baby's newborn session. Please contact me during your pregnancy to make sure you are on my calendar. You can send me an email or message with your EDD and if you know the sex of your baby yet. Then contact me again after your delivery so we can make arrangements for your session.

​

You must schedule your session within the first 14 days of life the best time is between 3-10 days. They are easier to move into scrunch positions and are less alert. Baby acne and colic can sometimes flare up after 14 days as well.

I can edit the acne however I prefer to do as little retouching as possible to the baby's skin.

Photography Session Fees:

Session fees cover the time and talent of photographer, planning and styling the portrait session, creativity and editing time.  My packages are ALL INCLUSIVE, which means the session fee, professional retouching, and image files for printing, and sharing is all included! You are not obligated to purchase anything additionally but you are of course welcome to!

I also offer a special discount for my newborn clients that book a shoot they also recieve 50% discount off all future session fee's for the baby's first year. So if you decide to come back in a few weeks or months and do a milestone session and/or family shoot it will be 50% off that price ( Session only).

 To book a newborn session there is a $175 deposit to hold a spot in my calendar. I limit the amount of sessions per month to ensure the highest quality of service to my clients. Newborn sessions are held in my studio located near West Carmel and Zionsville area. 

The $75 retainer is non-refundable and will be credited towards the collection you choose.

The Essential  Package - $550

 

• Up to 1-2 hrs. In my West Carmel studio

• Access to all of my props, hats, and posing accessories

• Preparation guide provided prior to portrait session

• Professional newborn skin retouching and editing

• You will receive 10-15+ fully edited, high-resolution digital images along with a print release.  You will receive a link to an online gallery where you can download the full-size files directly to your computer at no additional charge. You can also share this link with friends and family. If you do not own a computer or do not want to download the images yourself, then a CD or USB of your images can be mailed to you for a small additional charge.

• You will receive a link to an online gallery where you and others have the option of ordering high-quality prints/products directly from my professional lab. (Optional, but recommended)

• 50% discount off all sessions with me for baby's first year.

• Multiple newborns (twins, triplets) require more time so please inquire for package price

 

 

Please note that the “Essential” Newborn Sessions will NOT go over 2-hour, regardless of how baby sleeps/doesn’t sleep during that time or if you are late to your session. We will hope that baby sleeps at least some during your 2-hour session, however it is possible that you may end up with several awake images if baby doesn’t settle into sleep during that time.  It is also imperative you follow the prep in ensure a sleepy baby. The package also does not include any family or sibling shots. If you are wanting newborn pictures, family poses, and sibling shots it's simply best to do the Deluxe pacakge. This one is for baby only.

The Deluxe Package $850

 

• This package includes an approx. 3-4 hour custom-styled newborn sessions and includes family session with mom/dad and siblings. Most full-length sessions average 2.5 – 3 hours, however some take longer depending on your baby’s needs.  You will NOT be charged extra if the session takes over 3 hours.  Although this may seem like a long period of time, typically several breaks are taken to soothe baby, feed baby, change baby, and to get baby back asleep.  However to achieve the intricately posed images you see on my page, it is necessary to have a happily & heavily sleeping baby!

• Sibling and/or immediate family members included at no additional cost

• Preparation guide provided prior to portrait session

• Access to all of my props, hats, and posing accessories

• Professional newborn skin retouching and editing

• You will receive 20+ fully edited, high-resolution digital images, along with a print release.  You will receive a link to an online gallery where you can download the full-size files directly to your computer at no additional charge.  If you do not own a computer or do not want to download the images yourself, then a CD of your images can be mailed to you for an additional $15, or a USB can be mailed for $25.  I guarantee at least 30 final images, however I will try for more if baby allows during our time!  The photographer chooses final edited images.  Raw/unedited images will not be shown.
